Museum Shop opens at 10:30 am, Wednesday - Sunday, and closes at the same time as the museum.
The Museum Cafe is open 10 am - 3 pm, Wednesday - Sunday, and holiday Mondays.
RAM is closed Mondays, with the exception of holiday Mondays.

Free Admission
- The Royal Alberta Museum rests on Treaty Six territory and the homeland of the Métis. Many of the objects in RAM's collections and many of the stories presented in our galleries are Indigenous. In the spirit of reconciliation, and to honour the unique relationship between Indigenous Peoples of Alberta and the Crown, the museum extends free admission to Indigenous Peoples.
- Daily Admission is free for those with a Cultural Access Pass/Canoo Pass, CFOne Card, and for healthcare aide attendants accompanying paying visitors with disabilities.
- RAM offers free admission to all visitors annually on Family Day (February), Alberta Culture Days weekend (late-September), and for seniors during Seniors Week (June).

Bring your friends and save! We offer the following discounts for large groups and bulk admission purchases:
- 15 – 99 people: 10% off
- 100 – 199 people: 15% off
- 200 or more: 20% off
To purchase discounted group admissions, please email acsw.ramadmissions@gov.ab.ca noting the number of adults, youth (7-17), seniors (65+), and children (6 and under).
